Loved this albergue, got here late and was warmly welcomed by the lovely lady who runs it, laundry, very clean, fresh sheets and towels provided, soap and shampoo in the showers (also great!). Would highly recommend for your stay in Salceda.
It is a nice cozy place with a kind host. I stayed here a year ago before my last day walking to Santiago. I had a feeling I'm at home. Very clean.
The owner or manager is so friendly. He helped me recover some stuff i lost without hesitation. For the rest are the rooms nice and its a comfortable place to clean up and rest. For food and drinks you have to cross the street
Clean and friendly. We stayed here on August 5th 2022. Our backpacks hadn’t arrived. The woman at the desk was hilarious! She spoke a little English and we spoke a little Spanish. She was on one phone with the transport service and another phone with the translate app while we were on our phone with our translate app (clearly neither app was perfect and resulted in all of us laughing at the ridiculous translations so hard we were nearly crying). Clean showers and bathrooms. This was a great stay and we would stay here again!
The owner is warm and hospitable and incredibly helpful. The shower massages are great! The rooms are clean. It's just about 50m from a nice cafe. The only negative is that the building didn't seem to be heated. Although Boni handed out blankets, it got down to 35° last night and getting out of bed was rather unpleasant. If you're there in the summer, it will probably be fantastic... April and early May... not so much.
