I loved my stay at El Salto. Fernando was an excellent host. He cooked us dinner with fresh vegetables from a huge backyard garden. The building is beautiful, a former water mill that's being restored to make it comfortable for guests. I really enjoyed my stay, and highly recommend El Salto.
Host is a sweet man who makes you feel so welcome, cooks home cooked meals with vegetables from his garden, provides beds with colorful blankets, and is very helpful in any way you need. There is a cold stream to put tired feet in and hot water in the showers. Perfect after a long day!
So happy to have had the opportunity to stay at El Salto. The property was beautiful and the host, Fernando, was so kind and just really a wonderful person and host. He even cooked us a delicious meal from the garden on his property. If you have the opportunity I highly recommend a stay at his lovely albergue!
What a wonderul place with an amazing history behind the building. A credit to the host who restored it from a very poor state to its current glory. The host was so friendly and accomadating. A real gem that 99% of people will miss.
