walked the Camino de Santiago in September 2025 and stayed in the Emebed Posada for one evening. The hotel was converted from old town houses and has a very modern design . The hotel room located downstairs was clean/ basic but quite spacious with a fantastic view of the countryside south .The bathroom was equally nice too. The breakfast salon was on the ground floor and was enjoyable . I talked to the owner about the redesign of the building into a lovely hotel too. Overall i had a very positive experience in the hotel and i would return for sure again. For your information , my Camino travel partners were @Magichillholidays located in Ireland and it was a good selection on their part to recommend this hotel.
Only stayed one night, this small hotel is outstanding. Situated in a restored village house in the town square the standard of the restoration is first class and a credit to the local workers. Marguerite is a very interesting lady who is passionate about her premises and the service provided. We had a generous sized room with the best bathroom we had in a months travelling around Spain and Portugal. You will encounter in this hotel those who are completing the "Camino" which is an added interest talking to them.
Wonderful stay in an amazing place. Margaritas was amazing and the food and service were top notch.
Interior and house very nice. Room in a good size. Water just hand warm. No balcony on the room like it was written and I was awake in the morning early because you can hear everything from the entrance.
I booked my room on a very short notice. At the hotel I have been greeted by Magerita (hope to spell it right) who shows the wonderfully restored building from the 19th century to me. Simply everything there is nice, tasteful and feels at the right place. The room I had was pretty large, the bathroom new and clean. And as the cherry on top Margerita served me a wonderful and very individual breakfast the next morning. After waking me with the smell of fresh toast. This Hotel for sure is a gem well hidden. And I have no idea what a place could possible do to make me feel more welcome.
