Bedbugs on July 11, 2024. The staff denied that they were bedbugs and were mean about it. They showed me pictures of a completely different bug on their phone saying this was the bug, it was like saying the sky is red. I showed them actual bugs and they grabbed them and tossed them on the floor immediately and said don’t worry. I think they knew they were bedbugs. I put pictures on multiple Internet forums and every single response said yes those are bedbugs. Edit: I realized I could add a photo so I did. Now there is evidence for everyone to judge themselves. Also I will note that only 1 of the 4 bugs I saw was on the wood. 2 were on the bed and 1 was on my bag. And then the man made me leave the room and stop looking. And it’s not true what you said about anger either. Antonio acted quite angry with me indeed. Edit again: I have a question for the representative of Hostel Rosalia that is responding to my review. Please be very clear in your response. Do you think the picture I posted is of a bedbug or not? To answer your question, the problem is that when I showed these bugs to your staff they responded with hostility and denial. When I showed them I was kind, calm, and discreet.
Very nice albergue in Castrojeriz. Highly recommend it. The host is welcoming, the whole atmosphere is warm. The place is kept clean, beds are great (no bunk beds) with fresh cotton linen. The lady made us a nice dinner, hummus, pasta salad, grilled chicken, chocolate icecream and wine. There is an option of an early breakfast that is prepared and served since 5am, this has been amazing, since I was an early starter. Overall, nice albergue, and if you are in Castrojeriz, I highly recommend it.
First of all this place was very clean and the food was ok..the place was ok...but 4 star rather than 5
It’s a cool place with low beds and a nice atmosphere. Position is central but a bit expensive. Bad points: number of bathrooms is too low for the number of people, minuscules space for drying clothes - not enough. Breakfast is a way too poor for the price paid: poor quality industrial muffins, coffee, industrial orange juice. Dinner was okay (please don’t do that kind of overcooked pasta “vegetarian paella style”, you can do better than that). Overall is a good place to stop and good experience but I believe there is better around.
close to a supermercado, no bunk beds - only single low beds😇. available kitchen w fridge, but stove not working at this time. dinner & breakfast offered. clean bathrooms/showers. they open reception at 12:15pm.
