Quinta San Francisco

We absolutely enjoyed our stay of 2 nights in this place and highly recommend it. The room is cosy and has a balcony, there is a really nice garden, so there is plenty of space to relax. The food is delicious and the people are nice and welcoming. The stay was really comfortable. We used it as a gateway to Burgos, for relaxation purposes and to get a glimpse of the camino. We were surprised by Castrojeritz, there is quite a lot to see and it’s all at walking distance from the quinta.

My two adult sons and I stayed here two nights ago. We are walking the Camino. This hotel is magnificent. It is by far the best hotel we have stayed in while in Spain. Better than the Paradors, better than the big city hotels. It is peaceful, beautifully decorated, the service is outstanding and the food, much of which comes from their gardens, is excellent. Highly recommended, including as a break from city life.

A truly perfect stop on the Camino Frances. The staff is welcoming, accommodating, and kind. Services include a wellness spa with sauna, steam, and contrast heat showers. The grounds are extremely well kept and the place shines with impeccable design.

Amazing place. Very well decorated. Decor is calm and restful. The wellness room is a bonus. Staff were all helpful and friendly. We spent 2 nights there but I'd advise people to check it out for longer. Peace and tranquility await.

Absolutely the most relaxing stay along the Camino Frances. Everything is first class, and the food and service are super. The garden and foot bath are great to help you unwind. The place is absoluting quiet at night, and coupled with the great beds, a restful and peaceful sleep is assured.
