Great. Bur so confusing. One place at one end of village and the other right at the other end. One island albergue and the other a pretty upmarket hotel. We weren't the only people who were confused. So please change the name of one of them! We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
Our double room was located 700 meters up a steep hill from the main facilities like the pool, spa, and restaurant. Honestly, I don’t consider this part of the same accommodation, and none of this was communicated in advance—especially the fact that all those amenities were currently closed. While I’ll admit the bed was comfortable and the food at the restaurant was good, what truly shocked us was finding maggots constantly falling from the bathroom vent. It was absolutely horrifying and made us feel extremely unsafe. We had high hopes coming here, but paying €70 for this experience was deeply disappointing.
Stayed here one night - had the most amazing onion and ham soup for lunch Room was nice with good heating and shower. Only problem was no dinner served and had to walk down the hill to the sister property - the walk was worth it as the meal was great.
First of all..lovely staff, good clean rooms, ok food. However it was spoilt by lack of heat.. the heater in my room was broken, downstairs in the dining room the heater was not on so we all sat in out coats. Also there was not enough hot water to give me a shower
Reviewing the restaurant ONLY - best French onion soup I’ve ever had and tastiest egg boccadillo on the Camino! Would also recommend the homemade carrot cake. Loved the cracking fire after a chilly/damp walk down the mountain. Hardworking friendly staff too, thank you guys!
