The owners are the kindest people. I fell on the descent into El Acebo so I arrived pretty banged up. They took care of me from the moment I walked through the door bringing me tea and cakes and dressing my wounds. They also assured me they would not charge me if I wanted to leave to go home. The room was clean and beautiful- views of the mountains and fresh flowers from their garden. You feel like you’re at home with family in this lovely casa rural. Highly recommended!
I had a really nice stay in this lovely accomodation. After a long and cold walked I came in and was welcomed with a hot tea. The room is nice and warm. And the best was the host, he's really friendly. I totally enjoyed my stay here and would have loved to stay another day. But the Camino was calling me :)

Lovely respite from the track. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pillows the most comfortable so far on our Camino and the shower was hot and strong...wonderful
It’s been several weeks since I stayed here and it still remains a favourite from my Camino. The accommodation itself is lovely and homey with amazing views, but what really made the experience memorable was the kindness and generosity of the owner. It was above and beyond what we ever could’ve expected. I can’t recommend La Truche enough.
