I was a bit skeptical of this albergue when I walked in. It's incredibly basic, BUT the kind staff checked us in quickly, explained the restaurant situation next door, and promptly showed us our bunk beds. Clean rooms and clean bathrooms. Just be aware that the bathrooms are male/female shared. Thank you for a delightful stay after a rainy day walk.
Nice private room and bathroom, common room closes early and was not open in the morning somehow.
Allberga is a place with a truly excellent location on Camino Frances - the proximity of a great restaurant right next door is a huge plus. The equipment standard and bathrooms are at a decent level, which certainly enhances the comfort of the stay. It's worth noting, however, that the kitchen is quite small, which may pose some difficulties if you plan to cook independently. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by bedbugs that bit me during my stay. Upon closer inspection of the bed, it turned out that the issue may be due to the old boards, I stay in the room on the right. Therefore, I recommend exercising caution and thoroughly checking the beds before using them. This is, unfortunately, a significant drawback of this place. In summary, Allberga has its strengths, such as location and standard, but the presence of bedbugs is a serious issue that requires attention from the owners.
Great hostel which looks after the little details, such as a clothes rail in the shower. Outdoor hammacks under a cheery tree with stunning views makes a beautiful place to relax and unwind. Thoughtful and very friendly owners. Wonderful bar next door has a delightful pilgrims menu which you can enjoy outside while watching the sunset. Definitely recommended for a calm and relaxing stay.
Another really clean, comfortable and well setup Albergue set in pristine countryside. Shower, toilet and laundry facilities are all good with plenty of space to dry stuff. The hood is super friendly and helpful. No food here, though there is a rudimentary food preparation area and fridge.
