Five star experience on the camino frances. We have walked 14 different camino routes in Spain and Portugal and this is the best place we have stayed at. Amazing ambiance, service, food and the best towels in Spain. Do not miss staying here. Thank you everyone at El Trasgu for all that you do.

This was one of our favourite stops on the Camino. The food was amazing, the room was fully equipped and very clean and we had the best sleep because it was so quiet!

This was an amazing Camino stop. The hosts are kind and delightful. From the moment they checked us in, the expertly mixed cocktails on the patio to serving a delicious breakfast, it was all perfect. We had a very comfortable room that was impeccably clean. The decor is warm with much character. One of my favorite places to stay on the Camino. Muchas gracias 🙏🏻

Stayed here and ate dinner and breakfast and everything was perfect. Best salad we’ve had all Camino! Rooms were very comfortable & quiet, great pillows & beds and the most luxurious towels, plus amazing views. Lots of small details taken into consideration to make a guest’s stay that much nicer. French omelette for breakfast was cooked to perfection and their coffee is great also. Beyond all, incredibly kind people working here

This was one of the most awful experiences I have had staying in a guest house or hotel. I was walking the Camino de Santiago and had pre-booked my room but had failed to check in online. The two men that were there to ‘welcome’ me, raised their voices loudly for a good couple of minutes making me feel threatened, and nervous. Fortunately, other pilgrims were in their Reception/Shop and I think that may have restrained them from further outrageous behaviour. They have created a very nice place, with tidy rooms. It’s clean, theres shop, and a restaurant. But they are clearly stressed out, with too much work and responsibility, and if I was them I’d book a few weeks off at the end of the season and think about doing something else.
