This is without any doubt one of the best hostels on Camino Frances. The village is tranquil with beautiful stone houses. Staff very friendly and service minded. With had a private room that was perfect. Can highly recommend to eat here. Try the asturian dish cachopo (like a veal schnitzel but included serrano ham, cheese and red pepper🫑 Breakfast included
Amazing little cozy hotel. The side that houses private rooms with private bathroom is completely renovated, clean, modern with the thermostat and very good shower. They have a bar and restaurant on the property. Dinner was great and tasty - black rice seafood paella. Place is quiet, they offer breakfast and have a refrigerator and coffee and teapot. Very highly recommend.
Rooms are a good size,very clean and quiet. The entrance through the gate and down to the attached bar where you check in is off putting. It's right on the Camino path so is easy and a basic breakfast is provided.
Very kind hospitaleros, delicious food, and a super cute/cozy hostel. Felt very homey. Has clean sheets/bedding ! My best stop on El Camino Frances
La Casa del Abuelo is a simple hostel in Hornillos del Camino that offers both dormitory accommodations and private rooms. The room we were given was basic and acceptably clean but had the serious fault of not having hot water and therefore we have been hugely disappointed. A basic breakfast was provided.
