Albergue Puente Fitero

Kind and helpful hospitalieros, cool bar and restaurant. The rooms are remarkably clean, the beds done with quality linens and showers hot. Pretty cool for a Camino sleepover. What’s lacking is heating in the dorms and a kitchen-like corner for the pilgrims.

Great place! The hosts here are very welcoming. The food was very tasty and the portions generous. I would recommend this to anyone walking El Camino Francés.

We stayed in a private room so can’t speak about dormitories. The host really loves the Camino and is a character. Pilgrim meal was delicious and generous. There is not much to do in the area but luckily the Albergue was full of good company and the host was keeping us entertained - oh and such a cool stamp.

Fantastic experience at this hostel, run by the super friendly Paulina. The room was clean and comfy, with a hot shower that was perfect after a long day on the Camino. But the highlight was definitely the dinner: for just €15, I enjoyed a generous seafood paella 🍤🦪, packed with shrimp, mussels, and other fresh seafood. It came with a great white wine 🍷 and a delicious salad 🥗. Big compliments to Paulina and her team. Highly recommend this place – one of the best albergues on the Camino!

Michael does a great job, only wish there was a small above ground pool for hot days. He can recoup the cost by charging a small pool fee. But he's hospitable and puts on a good meal for a good price. The fruit salad dessert was great! Two bathrooms in the dorm, great hot water. Convenient laundry sinks. Only issue was that it's a popular place for locals to come and at 9pm it's still loud and the dorm door doesn't close well.
