This a perfect place to rest before climbing to O'cebreiro. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant offers a tasty breakfast buffet and a pilgrim menu, plus a variety of cakes❤️The staff is nice and they speak English. Overall, a great experience!
I had a lovely stay at Casa Lixa whilst walking the Camino. The staff were helpful, room beautifully clean and comfy and the food and laundry service very good
The town is right before O Cebreiro, our group rested here so we will have fresh legs up the mountain in the morning. The rooms are really clean with individual plugs and free lockers, and plugs inside the lockers as well. Vey comfortable beds. The food inside restaurant downstairs is ok, but there weren’t any other options in town. The mixed salad with tuna is good, generous portion of veggie, the vegetable soup was small and tasted a bit bland. The hake was small and not filling. The apple pie tasted great with cinnamon. The grilled chicken was good, a bit salty though. The mixed fruit salad is taken straight out of the can.
A very pleasant and clean place to stay while on the way to Santiago. If you're planning to do laundry, don't hesitate to do it here. The owners use high-quality detergents, so your clothes will smell fresh like at home, not like in a prison or hospital in many albergues.
We booked the private room for 3/4 beds. Bathroom was out in the hallway, but everything was clean and nice. Plenty of room and the dinner was great. Beautiful stop on the camino
