Excellent accommodation in a small village. The room was big and beautifully decorated with a large balcony with views over a meadow in Las Herrerías. Bathroom was bigger and more modern than expected. The dinner was great even though it was a Menu Peregrino, which we have learnt by now is the cheapest option to just keep you full. Breakfast was also great with an option of eggs of your choice! Great service and nice hosts! Totally recommend this place!

We absolutely loved this place and the people running it! It’s super clean, spacious, and everything is thoughtfully set up for your comfort. Tucked away in the quiet mountains of Spain, the only sounds you hear are birds and the river — it’s pure peace. The views are stunning, and we really appreciated the little touches, like the organic toiletries. Can’t wait to come back!

I paid €10 for a tortilla and a ham and cheese sandwich. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The baguette tasted like it had been sitting out for two or three days ,instead of being crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, it was soggy and lacked texture. The olive oil in the sandwich had a rancid aftertaste, and the tortilla was overly dry . In my opinion, the quality was below that of supermarket microwave meals. It simply wasn’t worth €10.

As a pilgrim, it is a shame seeing how restaurants and bars like this try to cheat. As I entered in this place my first question was “Do you have tortilla and is it home-made? And she (Miriam) lied in my face saying yes, it was made this morning. Luckily for myself, I discovered when I tasted it that it WAS NOT home made. 4€ for a piece of tortilla bought at Carrefour? I am not gonna pay of course not. All the peregrinos should be aware of this.

People and service were excellent, views sitting outside were lovely. Unfortunately the pilgrim meal was quite bad. Cuban rice was fried eggs on rice with ketchup. Ham and eggs doesn't come with chips and ham was dry.
