We stayed here on our Camino in Sept 2024. It is a superb place to stay if walking the Camino. Luis and Carmen are charming hosts and very helpful to pilgrims The food is great and the facilities excellent. I would certainly recommend staying here if you walking El Camino.
Posada el Camino was such a perfect reprieve for me as I was making my way between Roncesvalles and Pamplona whilst walking the Camino de Santiago. At this time of year (late Sept) the Camino is quite busy so I thought a stop a little outside the ‘main’ stopping points would help me get some solitude. And Posada el Camino certainly delivered that. Situation right on the Camino in a little hamlet, Carmen and Luis have opened their home to pilgrims in the most comfortable way. Small number of beds in each room (with the option of booking a room to yourself), fresh sheets, pillowcases, blankets, towels, fully equipped bathrooms, a clothes line in the sun to dry those soggy clothes … and a delicious dinner and breakfast as well. Carmen and Luis are such gracious hosts. And if you’re into dogs, Nala is a very gentle soul who will let you pat her ad infinitum if you choose. I loved my stay here.
This was a very nice place to stay a night during the Camino. The hosts are so friendly and the atmosphere is cozy ☺️ The pilgrims dinner was lovely. I highly recommend this place.
After the adventure of crossing from France to Spain via the Napoleonic route, I needed to walk a shorter distance than I had originally planned. The place was exactly what I needed! Great home-cooked meals completed the package.
A great place to stay while walking El Camino. The owners Luis and Carmen are very attentive and accommodating to special requests, of which we had a few. The beds and rooms were comfortable with lots of storage options. The bathroom spacious and clean with a large window. Their homecooked food was delicious (including homemade patxaran!). They have an adorable very friendly dog :) It's so cozy and welcoming to stay here! And all this great service and accomodation for a really great price. Would love to return if I get the chance .
