Romanic church located on the Camino de Santiago route and dedicated to Santiago himself. Well worth a visit!
Mass for pilgrins everyday at 19.30 hrs. If you want to do St James Way with a spiritual motivation definetely this place you are not allow to miss.
At first, I first slightly overwhelmed by the good will and welcoming attitude of the community. We all had dinner and breakfast together (well, breakfast time was a bit more flexible) and they also offered us the chance to take part in the Eucharist. However, the best part for me was the hospitalero, who helped me greatly with his advice on blisters, as it was the first time I had such big ones. And I would like to thank him publicly for his general advice, that allowed me to carry on with a brighter mood. Thoroughly recommended to stop by.
Cost: by donation. We were greeted by a really friendly man who explained the rules and services. The room had 18 beds which were decently comfortable. There was a family style supper where everyone sang a hymn together, mass, and an evening prayer and blessing for the peregrinos.
