Hotel Los Bracos

Wonderful hotel at a perfect location. Across the street is Calle Del Laurel, the known street for pintxos hopping. After a week of walking the Camino, we appreciate a day of rest at this hotel. Price is reasonable. The room has crisp clean sheets, a mini bar, bathroom with a bidet, hot shower, great view from the room. The hotel offers room at either the front with views but noisy because facing the street, or room in the back which is quieter. We chose the room with views. Our room is on the 6th floor. We could hear the street noise but it didn’t bother us.

Did not feel very secure at this hotel. False fire alarm early in the morning seemed strange, especially since no one vacated the premises, and no follow up by emergency services, fire brigade etc. Management warns occupants to guard their belongings and be on the lookout for strangers in the hotel. Seems odd. Good location, but not recommended.

Large room with very comfortable bed. Bathroom large with shower and bath - just what we needed after a day on the Camino. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant reception staff.

Good location in the center close to restaurants and bars. The room was clean. Unfortunately the lift mechanism is extremely loud and woke me up every few minutes (I normally sleep deeply) and the lift was in use most of the night. Too late to change. Classic Spanish breakfast. Staff at the reception helpful and with a sense of humor. If you go be sure to ask for a quiet room.

The room was fine but very hot. Spoke with two hotel reps. The first scolded me for touching the thermostat. The second came to our room to check on the a.c. he crossed his arms and brrrrd as to how cold it was. Both my wife and I were sweating at the time. No resolution. Very uncomfortable sleep. Will never stay here again.
