Hotel Murrieta is very near Logroño old centre and is a 3-star hotel that would benefit aesthetically from a renovation but that has everything that it's expected. Rooms are comfortable and clean, service is efficient and the breakfast offers an ample and satisfactory choice. Surely recommended and a good price-quality balance.
you get what you pay for: clean basic room (8th floor, so no traffic noise from busy street) that has not been upgraded for 40 years(?) and has the ambiance of a waiting room at a train station, a choice of pillows, crispy clean bed linen, excellent bathroom. good bed, though hard. excellent location. friendly reception desk. Not a hotel for my wedding night but ideal when exploring the old city as I did.
Friendly helpful staff, free coffee from a "Bean to cup" machine, nice touch & coffee was good too.
A small but convenient hotel in central Logrono, pain in the butt for parking but eventually got into underground parking No evening food was available but the buffet breakfast was good. Handy stop from ferry next morning
