Receptionist was superb, I scanned the Q code, did the passport, got my key and the room was perfect. One bed, one shower and toilet. Very central and a fine Tapa place next door where I got 2 lovely tapas a glass of Azpilicueta and change from €10. Logroño is a lovely city to suit the budgets of all visitors and pilgrims alike. After 6-8 days on the Camino it can be a refreshing stop. It has been yet again for me.
Centrally located and pretty quiet Good service provided at reception. We were probably given the best room they had. It was also clean and we are thankful for that. The negatives are that if you smell sensitive then you will have issues because whole place smells with old furniture or mold/moisture especially pillows. I did not find it bothering but my wife had difficulties sleeping and staying there. Thanks God we had a window to open but it seems like other rooms they have do not have windows at all though I am not sure. Pension is located on the 1st floor and our window was facing old and not taking care of backyards, and I suspect pension does not have rooms with windows facing central street which we were hopeful to get. The other issue was the light from the bathroom if you go there at night will be shining brightly on everyone who is sleeping as the bathroom doors are right opposite all beds. There is also another 2 small but bright light over the entrance door which were light during the night and bothering us and we did not find how to disable them. Reception is off after 11pm unfortunately.
Good accommodation ✅ All was clean , fully equipped bathroom, great location in the city centre and value for money. Camino de Santiago (10 -11 apr - day 7 ) Visited in April 2025
Super location, in city center by cathedral. Nice to have a private room with bathroom while on the Camino on a budget. Room was small but functional. We are happy we stayed.
This bar before was called (La tortilla) for a reason as it had a big reputation in Logroño for its delicious Tortillas. Over the past couple of months it has changed to different owners (La Redonda). I have been a few times over the past days, the service and food still remains high!
