My friend and I stay at the Hotel Monaco last month while walking the Camino. The manager was extremely accommodating, full of energy and cheerfully checking us in and answering all of our question. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, the location quiet and the view to the west up toward the hill was pleasing to look during the evening and morning. We enjoyed the rather lavish breakfast in the morning. Some people have commented about being disturbed by loud guest checking in at night but not us; we slept very well. We would gladly stay at the Hotel Monaco again.
My husband and I stayed here on the 25th April while doing the Camino De Santiago The hotel was very well situated for the Camino. We had a big corner room and a big corner balcony. Nice bathroom with walk in shower. The staff were very professional, courteous and never stopped working. The hotel was very clean and smelled lovely. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. We had a nice stay.
Simple, neat clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice Continental style breakfast for pilgrims. Overlooks large vehicle parking area, but traffic noise was not a problem.
Apartment style hotel. All rooms are brand new with full amenities (washer, kitchen, towel Warmer), powerful ceiling fan, seating area in the apartment. Very clean. Good hot water. Breakfast is in the hotel. No bar or restaurant yet, but the bar and restaurant just across the street is very good and covenient. Owner of hotel Monaco very helpful.
We rented a larger space for five. The view and the balcony were top shelf. Very clean and close to all amenities. Great bar across the street and the coffee shop on the main floor was great!
