Good place for Peregrinos. Good people. Rooms in good shape. Showers are larger than what we usually get. Power plugs plenty next to bunks. Very nice backyard to hang out - with a trampoline. Good Pilgrims dinner and breakfast. Worth the stay!

You pay 10 euros for a bed which is a fair price in my opinion. That is until you lie down on the squeaky narrow plastic mattress. The top bunk only has a guardrail on one side and because the mattress is so narrow the thought of rolling over and falling down becomes quite realistic. After going to bed when everyone is in the room it starts to get extremely hot and therefore the windows to the road outside has to be opened to make it even barely tolerable but then your can hear the noise from cars passing at regular intervals and the room is still too hot to sleep in. For some reason they didn't want to turn on the fans on the ceiling but I doubt that they would even help against the heat. I felt ridiculed for paying 10 euros for a bed that was almost impossible to sleep in under these circumstances. The soapdispensers by the sinks in the bathrooms was empty and didn't get refilled and some of the stalls ran out of toiletpaper. If it is the only albergue with space in town I would strongly advise you to walk 6 kilometers further to Puente Villarente or stop to sleep in Reliegos. You would probably even be better off sleeping outside.

Pilgrim menu: 17 euro. We waited 45 mins for the first serving, 45 more for the main dish and 8 minutes for the dessert, which was a plain yogurt directly from the supermarket with a sugar sachet. It’s just ridiculous, sorry. The albergue is ok but there was an alarm ringing all the time for some malfunction, se we couldn’t have a good rest in the afternoon until they luckily managed to fix it before sleep time. Owner: if you wanna have plenty angry pilgrims in your albergue you’re on the right path 🫡 Buen Camino

Great place for peregrinos on the camino, either for sleeping or to have breakfast, lunch or a bite to eat.
