Albergue Ezequiel

Really great find in Melide. Not in the Camino books or apps. New, clean, great showers, laundry etc. Access via the pulperia Ezequiel.

I think it's the best albergue!

This was the 4th hostel I have been to and by far the DIRTIEST (you can see it in the photos). It's funny because the man who helped me told me to take a shower, since there were people who didn't shower, that a German couple got into bed without showering. When I saw the shower I understood. The shower photos are from the upstairs bathroom. Where I showered on the ground floor, the shower was clogged, full of hair, the bathroom SHIT the bowl, the lid!!! No soap anywhere. Of course, the man was polite and kind. But of course the cleaning... Pufff The room also lacks cleaning, the pillowcase is very old and unhygienic if not washed, the rest is normal.

The location of the hostel was good but there was only one bathroom for everyone, we didn't have toilet paper or hand soap and when we asked the owner of the hostel he didn't want to give it to us. The kitchen is not equipped and practically cannot be used. If you need something you have to go to the grocery store that they also own since there is almost never anyone in the hostel. The hostel is poorly maintained with a rather dirty bathroom. For the price and for it to be a private hostel, it is more worth going to the public hostel or looking for another one that is in better condition.

The woman's husband was extremely rude and useless. He spoke to us at all times in a bad way and with very little education. We were polite and respectful at all times and we were never well received. He also did not speak to us at any time in Spanish. The lady is a sweetheart.
