Pretty good place, €14 for a bunk bed. The place is very clean and seems well maintained. They also offer the possibility of getting a private room for those who want one. Good points: Wi-Fi available, and I had an excellent signal even from the bed. The receptionist on Sunday (Lara or Laura) was absolutely lovely—extremely welcoming, I was genuinely surprised. They provide real sheets, not disposable ones, which is really comfortable when walking the Camino. No problem getting hot water, which is very much appreciated after a long day of walking. The location is quite good: not far from the Camino and right on the N547. It’s also very close to the village center. Check-out before 10:00 a.m., compared to 8:00 a.m. at most other places of this kind, which is nice for those who need a bit more time. Bad points: The kitchen is rather small and missing a few basic items. They don’t provide towels or shower soap. The beds are quite close together compared to other albergues, and some are literally touching each other, so you end up sleeping right next to someone you don’t know. This is not great, especially for someone who values privacy. Overall, I had a good experience there, and it’s a place I can recommend, especially for those walking the Camino.
We stayed here yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The girl at the reception was very welcoming. The dorms were clean and comfortable, with nice showers and toilets. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful – exactly what a pilgrim needs after a long day on the Camino. Highly recommended!
We had a double room in the upper floor which was quite spacious and for the low price a really nice room. The best part was the service, I forgot something in the room and before I had noticed it I got a call about it and the receptionist helped me to organize the pickup by one of the bag transporting companies, like putting it in a bag and making a tag for it etc. We were on the phone several times that evening and she was always very friendly and helpful about it. Big thanks again! I recommend the albuergue for any pilgrim coming through Melide.
My stay at this albergue was great. The best part was, Lorena, the receptionist, she was pleasant, professional, extremely informative, very attentive. The place was clean, great showers, nice and clean kitchen and a great price. Great location, too. Thank you, Lorena for making my day!!! Very grateful. You deserve a good raise!
Nice albergue, clean and tidy. We took the private room with 1 bunk bed and a private bathroom for 25€, the bed in a shared dormitory is 12€. - Kitchen with a microwave and all facilities except oven - Laundry with a dryer (about 4 and 4€ respectfully) - common area with a sofa, fast WiFi - supermarket nearby No insects detected :))
