A great place to stay on your camino, especially if you're looking for cosy accomodation. The owner is a very helpful and positive guy and the house is exceptionally tidy.
They are individual rooms, not the entire house as we initially thought. The rooms don't have air conditioning, and in summer the heat is unbearable. Since the house is shared with other people, it's not practical to open doors for ventilation, and the windows don't have mosquito nets. Furthermore, there's a sports hall right next door, and when we were there, there were football matches, and the noise was unbearable. We couldn't open the windows because of the stifling heat. At 1:00 AM, we could hear voices even with the windows closed. Since it's a three-story house, we had to divide the rooms, with two members of a family staying downstairs and the other two in the attic. There's no elevator to get our luggage up, and the heat in the attic was even more oppressive. In a room supposedly for four people, the beds were small and springy, making them very uncomfortable. Combined with the heat and noise, the night felt endless. Furthermore, some rooms share a bathroom with the rest of the house, and there are no common areas, such as a lounge with armchairs. The location is on the outskirts of town, so to get there you'd have to take a car or walk. If you want peace and quiet and there's a game on, you won't get any rest. We were very disappointed.
The location is far away but relatively quiet. Unfortunately, the shower door in the bathroom on the third floor does not close tightly, and water sprays outside when taking a shower.
We booked a room with a bathroom, and everything was clean and tidy. The only downside is that it's on the outskirts. The rest of the rooms in the house are rented to other pilgrims. There's no one at reception; if you have any questions or issues, you have to contact them via WhatsApp or phone. There are no common areas for cooking, nor are there tables and chairs for dining or eating on the house's terrace. You can't use the washing machine either.
It wasn't the best night. I got an attic room. If you're over 5'5" tall, you'll hit your head several times, and the same goes for the bathroom. It was also incredibly hot, but if I opened the window, I could hear the partying kids who had booked a room in the same apartment. Thumbs up for the cleanliness.
