1 / 5 As for the accommodation, I have nothing to complain about; it seemed fine. The reason for this review is the breakfast, which was included in the price and was terrible. Breakfast was supposed to be served at 7:00 AM, but keep in mind that we were walking the Camino de Santiago. It was 8:00 AM and we were still having breakfast. It consisted of coffee with milk and some toast; the bread was cut haphazardly. After speaking with the waitress, she brought us some bottled juice. Breakfast was included in all the accommodations we stayed in along the Camino, but this was by far the worst, and the wait was incredibly long. Furthermore, they seated us in the dining area and then later made us get up and go to the cafeteria. June 2025
2 / 5 During the Melide festivities, we decided to stay at this guesthouse for four people, costing €70 because it was the holiday season (other times outside of the holiday season, she charged us €50). Monica, the owner, was very nice and helpful from the moment we booked, but we stayed for two days, and both days the cleaning lady was trying to open the door to the room at 11 a.m. (checkout time was at 12 p.m.) and, being alone, she made a huge fuss cleaning four rooms. Not to mention that in the middle of August, the beds were made up with sheets, a blanket, and a duvet on nights that didn't drop below 20 degrees. On another note, I think they should give the rooms a facelift because every time you moved in three of our four beds, you woke up everyone in the room. In the room upstairs, 201, there's a skylight that's impossible to close because it's too high up. If you want to rest until the cleaning lady leaves you at 8 or 9 in the morning, you already have a spotlight shining in your face.
Next time, we'll consider paying a little more, but for something better.
