Amazing place with lovely owner. Just like being at home. 1st class. Will return.
Our stage of the Camino de Santiago ended in Melide and we opted to eat in the same place where we were going to spend the night. There were barely any dishes left on the menu, despite it not being late (2:30 p.m.). One person in the group fainted, we sat him on the floor, gave him some air and ordered a Coca Cola (for which they charged us). On the one hand logical, but ugly detail. The rooms are quite old and a lot of noise at night. Carlos is very friendly, but the hostel needs a return to update.

We were having a drink at the end of the third stage of the journey. In addition to being very well located (in a central area with a lot of atmosphere very close to the municipal hostel), the service was very good. During the little time we were there, the waiters and waitresses passed by on several occasions offering different skewers and handing out appetizers. Very good atmosphere and many local people, something that for me at least is indicative of the good treatment they offer.
It looks a little vintage, but that doesn't mean it's a great accommodation to use in Melide. Advisable. Very good hosts. The menu also eats very well.
