The rooms or at least the one we had was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast wasn't very good and the staff couldn't cope with the crowd, demands and restock issues. Coffee machine is a disaster. Only one lift so had to let 6 go pass full from high floors before taking cases down 3 flights of stairs. Real pity, lift and Breakfast let's down what would have been a good overnight stay.
We’re staying here and what a lovely place it is. I highly recommend it if you are walking the Camino. The staff in the dining room are SO friendly, and nice and helpful and could not have done more for us. Thanks guys. Dinner was absolutely delicioso, especially the lovely fresh salad and vegetables. That was perfecto. There’s a laundry here at the hotel too, and you can also book in for a massage. How good is that!
Stayed here while doing the Camino. Great well located hotel with friendly staff. Special mention to Leslie at dinner, welcoming, efficient and friendly. Enjoyed the EUR18 per head buffet dinner (including wine etc), favorite dish being the lemon mousse.
Arrived with our suitcases already in the reception and they didn’t have or reservation. There was some misunderstanding with our tour operator in Oz. They ended up putting us up at an apartment and my wife and I had to put up with bunk beds in a cramped kids bedroom. At no time in this incident did a manager of the hotel deal with us, just the receptionist. We learnt subsequently the hotel ended up charging us the hotel rates for our stay in a shared apartment which was second rate! The hotel liaison person, Antonio, has a lot to answer for! Never again - I’d try the other 2 three star hotels slightly out of the town center on the right of the map in future.
A very nice modern hotel in the middle of the center of the town of Melide. You are in the walking distance to supermarket, pharmacies, and good restaurants, and banks and shopping areas. The check-in was smooth and fast and some of the staff can speak English if your Spanish is bad. There is only one elevator and the rooms are very comfortable with modern thermostats to change the temperature in the room. The dinner and breakfast at the hotel is very good, it is buffet style. There is also an outdoor patio with a food truck.
