Hotel Lux Melide

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms are v comfortable and the restaurant has a good menu with lovely food. The service was outstanding. The young man on reception was exceptional in terms of the service and care he gave. I only regret that I can't remember his name. Leslie in the restaurant was also very good at her job. Would definitely go back there

A lovely place to stay for a good night’s sleep on the Camino. We were a bit skeptical with our room facing the square but the windows were fantastic and insulated us from noise from the street. The bed was comfy and the room very clean. The room was spacious and had ample storage space. There was a coffee machine but no kettle or refrigerator. The A/C worked perfectly. The was an elevator and the WiFi was consistent and strong.The breakfast, which was extra, was very good with nice choices. The only point we felt off about was the staffing at front desk. There was not always someone there, which was odd. We did have everything we needed and enjoyed our stay.

Listen, I know you’d like to stay on the coast but Lux Melide is an exceptional home base. Very clean and spacious rooms and the hotel has many amenities like self-serve laundry and a lovely open air terrace with a snack bar. The little town was quite bustling but we could still find parking easily. They have limited apartment-style rooms with a full kitchen which would be fantastic for families. Would highly recommended for this region.

Location is excellent, in the middle of town close to restaurants and the s. supermarket. Modern, clean rooms with all the toiletries and amenities needed, plus great water pressure in the shower. Good breakfast and a water cooler available to fill up bottles. Friendly service.

Perfect for a Camino stop. Comfortable beds, hot showers and great selection for breakfast and dinner buffets. Leslie in the dining room was fantastic. Right on the Camino pathway and central to everything in town.
