As a Camino pilgrim, I have a company that set up my nightly accommodations, so I did not pick this one. I don’t know what to say about this hotel, except that it just felt dingy, dark, and a little bit dirty to me. It was quite large and I was on the top floor. My room looked out to a closed area facing some other rooms and I could smell different foods being cooked throughout the night, which was unpleasant. They had a bar and a restaurant. I did go have a glass of sangria and they gave me nasty, stale potato chips And some mushy olives. At night, for sleeping, the room was extraordinarily noisy, the walls were paper, thin, and I could hear the people next-door having a loud conversation for a long period of time. The bed was hard and the pillows not that comfortable. I brought a liner with me and have not had to use it at any other accommodation, but I took it out and used it last night because I just wasn’t sure of the cleanliness of the sheets. It took close to 10 minutes to get even warm water from the shower and if I tried to adjust it, it turned immediately ice cold. The hotel is located at the beginning of that town and it’s very industrial with a lot of auto service shops around it. When I left in the morning to go back on the Camino, I saw the downtown area and it was a little more lively and seemed pleasant - than where that was. The only positive that I can give to this hotel is that they had a decent breakfast buffet and fresh fruit that was delicious. Otherwise, I couldn’t wait to leave. I did not take a picture of the room, but I wish that I would have remembered. But it was just awful.

The room itself is fine, not as new and modern as the photos, but totally fine. However, it's super LOUD. I could hear neighbors on both sides of me, loud TVs, street noise from the highway outside, plus the two mechanics just outside. My room was unfortunately near the elevator and people gathered to wait there starting at 5:30 am, and even with good ear plugs and my white noise machine, this was an impossible place to sleep. There is no carpeting or anything to dampen noise. The free breakfast will be a nice bonus for most, however, I'm vegan and there was nothing I could eat. I wanted a banana, but they are for sale only, not included. That's too bad for us veggies. It wound be great if the hotel offered margarina in addition to butter so veggies could at least have toast.

A little farther out of the city center than I imagined, but still close enough to walk everywhere. Nice hotel, clean rooms, great breakfast.

Nice hotel situated about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Melide. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and even had shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, which was a very welcome touch after a hot day on the camino. The beds were very comfortable and the room was cool; we didn't need to use the air conditioning. The breakfast was brilliant, one of the best of our trip. Lots of variety, both sweet and savoury, including fruit, toast, tortilla de patata, cereal, croissants.

Stayed here on the third night of our Camiño Walk, and I do believe it was the best hotel we stayed at throughout the entire pilgrimage. The rooms were small (what you’d expect for the price), but everything was well-maintained. Beds and room were clean and comfortable, and I was especially impressed by the amenities in the bathroom (they weren’t actually that fantastic, but more than you’d expect after the other hotels we stayed at). The service was great, and the bar was excellent—both in terms of the variety of bottles they had as well as the prices. The food was delicious, and the breakfast was outstanding. The spread was almost extravagant, and especially impressive were the jams, which we believe to be home-made. This family-run hotel would definitely be something I’d look forward to should I find myself in the area again.
