Rooms are basic and showing age but are clean. Lift is way too small but works. Downstairs there's an dinning room, bar and streetside outdoor terrace popular with guests and locals as alike. Well located in centre of town but quieter surroundings 🔝👌🍷The best is the friendly service from this family run business Maria, Carlos and rest of family. Food is good too and everything is reasonably priced. They will be refurbishing the hotel soon so should be a fantastic place to stay in future.
If I could give 10 stars I would. The service is exceptional! We had stayed here in hotel and had dinner here and the food is exceptional!. All home made fresh food. Our stay here accommodations wonderful but the service makes this place just exceptional! I needed taxi.. they helped, I slept in...they helped, I needed another taxi... they helped. The restaurant stayed open to accommodate us. I could go on. But I will definitely be back.
Lovely hotel to stay in. Bit of "old world charm", feeling like a happily run family business. Had a small room, but well lit with the central atrium providing light and air. Taken to our room then asked to come down, when we are ready, to check in. Relaxed and efficient management style. Fairly central to the town, not on the main street, so quiet for sleeping but close for a quick start on the Camino.
Clean, nice quiet rooms. The service was great. Great location within walking distance to the Museo da Terra de Melide and Convento Sancti Spiritus. Both are worthwhile visiting. In Museo da Terra the docent was very knowledgeable. Look for one of the original coro pieces from the Cathedral Santiago de Compostela. The service at Hotel Xaneiro was great and one of the managers treated us to a cerveza!! Gracias! Very welcoming!
Rooms are very compact but very comfortable, very clean rooms, very soft beds, very quiet rooms, and very responsible rates, restaurant/ bar located on the ground floor very friendly staff/ owners, and English is a second language, located just off of the main street from town so some curbside parking and for motorcycle a locked garage.
