This hotel deserves 10 stars. It was the highlight of our holidays. The owners Jose and Mara are wonderful, so helpful, friendly and informative. It was wonderful to meet them. They are really lovely people. We were delighted with our room which was beautiful. It had everything we needed and was beautifully presented. As we were so exhausted when we got them Jose made us lunch. The hotel is right beside everything but it is not noisy. We really loved our stay there. Thanks again for everything.
We had actually planned to stay in a neighboring hostel which is owned by the same owner. He upgraded us to this hostal when we arrived. The building is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. There were two different chairs in the room for sitting. The hot water is abundant for showers! There is a lower level kitchen for pilgrims to use with a stove top microwave and refrigerator and sink. Upstairs is a living room with a large screen TV with Netflix available! We opted to purchase the breakfast and in the morning the owner made and served breakfast according to the time we desired. The hospitality here is excellent! I would highly recommend this establishment and hope to return again one day!
Lovely Brazilian hosts. Comfortable room, nice shower with great pressure and very clean. I had a great rest after such a long day on the camino. Love the extra blankets as it got colder at night. The only down for me was that my room was on the lower floor so even though I had a window I didn’t get any sunlight.
This was probably the best hostal I stayed at during my camino, and it was such a treat to stay here after a difficult and long walk. Such a warm welcome from Jose, and my bedroom was so lovely with a garden view. Adored the attention to details (wicker basket of towels on the bed, bottle of water on the side table). Conveniently located (very near the main street and the camino route). Was served a delicious breakfast at the cozy dining area by the owners themselves. Highly recommend!
WOW! I strongly recommend this place , you’ll get an amazing experience. The wonderful Brazilian couple running it has devoted their lives into making this a wonderful place for us as guests, and their motto is: Come as guests, leave as friends. Exactly that happened. Their rooms are beautiful, clean , nice private batbroom that smells good, heating systems, common kitchenarea. Make sure to join the dinner that the wonderful Mara cooks for you, a great way to meet other guests and process your Camino in a deepened way. Their hospitality and generosity has no boundaries, it’s like a luxury hotel with a personal loving feeling. Make sure to stay a night here and enjoy Mara & Jose Luiz’s amazing services and company.
