What an incredible place to stay and eat in a super cool town. The hotel was very clean, modern and super comfortable. You can tell they pay very close attention to all the details! The service was amazing. We were a little late making it to our breakfast reservation however our server, Estrella, made us feel welcomed and took very good care of us. The breakfast was top tier. Fresh orange juice and a super delicious, very large, cup of coffee and some delicious tostas and bizcochos. We had dinner the night before and it totally blew our minds. I am not too sure why the restaurant has not made it on the michelin guide for El Bierzo. They need to send someone in there asap because the tasting menu was ridiculous tasty and the service was second to none. Every time I find myself in the area I am going to make a point to stop here and try out the chefs tasting menu as they change it quite often.
As a group of motorcyclists we were royally looked after by the team and enjoyed a delicious Tasting menu with a wine flight. It was excellent value for money and sits at the start of an excellent biking route. We'll be back!!
Fabulous experience! Patricia was managing the front desk and the restaurant expertly. Estrella provided amazing service in the restaurant. The room was quite comfortable and the building was beautiful. No notes.
I recently stayed at the No-Mad Green Hotel in Molinaseca, Spain and found it extraordinary. It is a truly green hotel, with comfortable cozy rooms and gourmet cuisine. I stayed while underway to El Camino. The staff is friendly and the whole experience was just great.
Stayed during our Camino- check in was ok but we felt they were a bit disorganised and had to keep checking our booking (which made us a little nervous at first) Rooms are ok but no sound proofing we could hear everyone talking and snoring during the night. Restaurant is nice - we ate dinner in the bar area as it was included in our package but others in the restaurant so at first felt a little odd but it was fine. No written menu but the food was good very high quality. Breakfast was very slow and disorganised also no menu so not sure if it had finished as staff were away a lot. But it was very tasty and high quality. Felt like we were the first time they had to do this (there were other tables as well and we could hear they were confused about the service and what was on offer for breakfast)
