Very comfortable and clean albergue, beds are very comfortable and rooms are spacious. Wonderful host they makes you feel welcomed. The dinner and breakfast were great and Jose Manuel basked fresh bread for us. I would recommend staying at this albergue for sure!!

This 16-bed albergue is a gem, with an engaging host, who bakes each pilgrim a delicious cob loaf for breakfast. Whilst some reviewers have criticised him for strictness, I believe that he is only asking for good practice. He is a humorous character - devoted to the Camino, and to his guests.

An extremely unfriendly, rude, and overbearing person runs this place. Not only does he have "rules" that wouldn't fly at a prisoner camp, he postures in a physically aggressive manner whenever he talks to anyone but the chosen few he deems worthy of his attention. He was close to me using physical force to remove him from my personal space when he screamed at me. A concept (personal space) he does not seem to grasp, reportedly (for the obvious gender reason I was not present) walking into women changing and to mop up a few drops of water that fell outside a shower while a woman was taking a shower.

Senor Oso is clean, tidy, well organised, has super hot water for showering and then also hot water at the basin for shaving the old beard. Moreover, Jose is an absolute legend, he went out of his way to help me out when I needed it! I have stayed in many Albergue’s over the 3200kms I have walked on the Camino and Senor Oso is worth staying at! Trust me!

We really liked this Albergue in Molinaseca while walking the Camino. The owner/operator who is also the town’s baker was very organized and the Albergue was spotlessly clean. Pilgrim’s dinner was an excellent minestrone and pasta soup with freshly baked bread (€10) and breakfast was a small loaf of bread for each diner plus a hard boiled egg, jams and tomato spreads, and coffee or tea (€4.5). Washer and dryer for laundry (no hand washing available). Fridge and kitchen facilities. The owner is a bit rules oriented, but as long as you respected them there wasn’t a problem. Bunk beds were excellent (2 in our large room) and lots of headroom for the bottom bunk. Overall an excellent choice for the night.
