We really liked this Albergue in Molinaseca while walking the Camino. The owner/operator who is also the town’s baker was very organized and the Albergue was spotlessly clean. Pilgrim’s dinner was an excellent minestrone and pasta soup with freshly baked bread (€10) and breakfast was a small loaf of bread for each diner plus a hard boiled egg, jams and tomato spreads, and coffee or tea (€4.5). Washer and dryer for laundry (no hand washing available). Fridge and kitchen facilities. The owner is a bit rules oriented, but as long as you respected them there wasn’t a problem. Bunk beds were excellent (2 in our large room) and lots of headroom for the bottom bunk. Overall an excellent choice for the night.
Great location and clean rooms. The owner is very direct and can be a bit rude, but the biggest thing that bothered me was that the 16 € bed does not include a sheet; was the only private Albergue on the Camino so far that doesn’t include one, and obviously everybody needs one. Not a bad place to stay if you have to, but certainly not the best.
This is one of my favorite town and albergue during Camino de santiago. Jose welcomed us so warmly and making reservation was hustle-free on the phone as well. He is a master of bread and cooking. Please try dinner and breakfast!! You won’t regret it 🥖 room was clean and cozy.(very quiet so i slept so well) Location is amazing too! Laundry machine and dryer helped a lot too! 여기 위치너무 좋고 주인 호세도 너무 친절하고 한국 라면 있어요! i will definitely stay again!! Thank you Jose!
I forgot quite an expensive water bottle at the hostel so i called to see if something still was possible. The owner of the place did everything he could to bring it back to me so 60km further in another city he helped to transport the bottle to my hostel! Amazing! It’s about these things which shows the warmth and kindness of a person to really help the pilgrims! Oh! Don’t forget to take the breakfast, the bread is delicious!
Great and clean facilities, and a kind host who gave us some free snacks baked in his bakery, and dried the boots for us (an amazing surprise for a pilgrim!!) . He even gave me some cream for my knee pain, as well as a little tour of the village in the morning. The breakfast was amazing as well, with freshly baked bread. Gracias ❤️
