I shocked to see a number of overtly racist reviews here. The beer was expensive but the service was very pleasant. To the so-called pilgrims complaining about certain demographics present at your hostel; I wish you much more personal growth than you have had up until now. Stop complaining about being in the presence of people who are different. The grounds are beautiful and the prices are what they are, take it or leave it.
It's a great place to stay, breakfast is good, all you can eat. The room was very clean and spacious, the mattress was a little hard and not that comfortable, but seemed new. The room had a TV, heater, towels, and no AC (if you plan to stay during summer) however it had a big window from where you could see the sunset. I would likely stay again in this place.
This albergue was a bit too far from santiago to walk to there especially after the camiño, but the rooms were big enough for seven people and beds were pretty comfortable, we recently also learned about the fact that they welcomed refugees from the Canary Islands.
There were very few pilgrims from the Camino here, if any. The albergue is now being used as a migrant shelter. We did not feel safe here.
The most DIRTY apartment I’ve ever seen. Hairs and stains are everywhere. The floor is cold and dirty too. We booked double bed, what we received you see on the photo. After I went to the reception and asked to change the room the receptionist continued to reassuring me that it IS a double bed If you don't want to spoil the last day of the Camino, avoid this place
