Casa Morgade

This is a small family owned restaurant and accommodation right on the Camino. The dinner last night was delicious and simple with good wine. This morning I had yogurt and granola, and it was good. You can see my pictures of the room as a solo traveler. It was quite small however, the bed was incredibly comfortable. I was so excited because it was by itself in a rural area where I thought there would be no noise and I was going to get a decent night sleep. However, two of my walls were adjacent to the family residence with many people so that noise went on till about 11:30 PM. It’s not their fault they live there and they’re just doing their family stuff but I would just recommend do not stay in room 6 if noise bothers you.

The only albergue on this town, but it's a great one! Great bar/cafe and restaurant. The room was modern, clean and has a fantastic view of the hills and fields. We even had two very curious locals who greeted us by our window (horses!). The gift shop attached to the property is perfect for those last minute items and first souvenirs to purchase. The choices for menu del dia were excellent. First time I tasted the Santiago cake, and it wasn't the last. The best part for me was the fresh air - we only had to close our windows because some really huge mosquitos found their way into our room! Otherwise, it would have been perfect to sleep with the windows open.

Looks like a nice place to stay. I was there at 5 pm and the woman seemed really fried and irritated that anyone else came in, even though they were open. I would have stayed there, but no rooms were available. It's right on the Camino and they have soy milk for coffee.

Excellente, increíble, bueno, super cómodo, hospitable, and fantastico! We stayed the night here - beautiful rooms and fantastic restaurant. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay at a great Albergue. Great beds, rooms and service. Honestly, I'd stay here for two nights just to enjoy.
