I’ve been here 3 years in a row because this is, by far, one of the absolute BEST… one of the most cozy and soulful albergues on the Camino. Juan is one of the most GENUINE Hospitalarios on the Camino. Hosting pilgrims is a calling and he is definitely called. Everything is done with love, including the cooking (the dinner might be the best meals on the Camino!). I recommend everyone to stay here! You won’t regret it but you might be sad to leave because it will feel like home and a part of you will always miss it. 🥹❤️

Possibly the best Albergue I’ve stayed at so far. The atmosphere is so warm and welcome. You feel safe and cared for. Like you belong. Highly recommend the dinner to get to know others. Plus the food was delicious. Orchard out the back, kitties and dog. Plenty of places to sit if you want to be social or have your own time. Blankets provided for the cooler weather. Separate men’s and women’s bathrooms. The bunks are a little creaky and the bottom ones don’t have much head room, but that’s super minor compared to how fantastic the rest is. Definitely recommend.

Really cool vibe in a nice little town. The owner was full of kindness and Camino spirit and chatted with us while serving a wholesome dinner including vegetables grown on site. The bunk room was comfortable and spacious. The clothes washing sink was even equipped with soap which I greatly appreciate.

I highly recommend staying at Las Aguedas. The facilities were top notch, clean, and inviting. For a pilgrim, you had everything you need and more. Every part of the albergue was thoughtfully crafted with the user in mind. The room was nice and cool despite it being so hot in August. The water is also amazing. I was told it is sourced from a well and I could really tell the difference as my hair was so soft after my shower. I really enjoyed my stay. Most of all, Juan who runs the albergue, is very passionate and kind. Being a pilgrim himself, he created something special for everybody who comes here. And of course, he cooks the most amazing food from scratch using vegetables from his garden. He made us homemade paella which is actually not very common to find in the north of Spain. We also learnt about Juan’s story which he shared with us over dinner. It was so inspiring and it really uplifted my spirit during my Camino journey. I highly recommend staying here.

Welcoming hosts, communal vegetarian and homemade meals with a focus on natural products, a cozy atmosphere with a strong sense of community. Laundry services and a small bar at the albergue.
