Juan is an AMAZING host. He says, "Welcome to my home" and he means it. You are treated like family. There's a wonderful sitting area, great bar, and the Dinner!! Oh my god, the dinner: vegetarian, delicious from his garden. Warming soup, great pasta, and a tres leches cake. Everything about this place is perfect. Don't stay in Astorga, push on and stay here. You will not regret it.
Albergue Las Aguedas and the owner Juan are truly special. Walk past Astorga and stay here if you want a very restorative and gentle evening of his yummy cooking, fellow pilgrims and a lovely setting. thank you for a great night Juan!
Comfy beds, relaxing courtyard with bar and quite possibly the best pilgrim meal on the camino. Vegetarian menu was a welcome relief after weeks of meat and potatoes. Skip Astorga and stay here!
Such a nice atmosphere, mainly because of the amazing joint dinner and the beautiful garden and seating area. Dorm is ok.
This place is amazing!!! Everything was so perfect! Clean beds and bathroom, wonderful staff and soooo delicious dinner and breakfast as well. There is a big garden with a lot of places for relax. Aria the dog and cats are so cute. The owner Juan is so lovely person with warm heart and he is the best feet doctor. He saved my Camino and gave me a proper advice. Highly recommended before going up to the mountain! Many thanks for everything!
