We didn't stay here as we were already at another place but hosts were very friendly and have a beautiful garden. Generous glasses of wine at cheap price and super cute dog! Stop here even if you don't sleep here 😁
Wonderful hosts, who are themselves pilgrims. The albergue itself is delightful. Last but not least, the food was simply the best meal I have experienced so far on the camino and very fairly priced. Many thanks for a great stay.
Honestly, the owner is a shady salesman and liar. Kept changing proving depending on what nationality you were...particularly on drinks. Would not honor his original pricing. But what was worse was that for the rooms, I was deliberating between two or three places and when I asked to see his place, he said no no sorry we sold out....as my friend is booking a room right that moment. I said I'd take his place if he let me see it, and then he did...and said I needed to decide right then or it would be sold out on booking. It never was. SEVEN more walk ins came in after, none with a booking, over the course of the next 5 hours. He was racist to some Americans he thought were Mexican or Caribbean, and the dinner was subpar at best. At least the rooms were nice with sheets and more intimate with only 4 not bunk beds
I had a wonderful time in this alburge. The rooms are clean and warm. The bath has an amazing shower. The food was delicious and home cooked with an vegetarian option. And the best are the host, I had a nice evening with them and we talked a lot. They are very friendly and did some extra problem solving for me. And for me as a German it was nice bonus that they can speak my language.
