Perfectly renovated Maragata house; 4 nights and 6 people perfectly settled and comfortable. Located practically on the outskirts of Astorga, it's ideal for exploring the surrounding area and hiking through all the Maragato villages. The owners' kindness and thoughtfulness, including the loaves of bread in the morning, make this a house worth returning to again.
A beautifully restored traditional Maragato house, meticulously restored down to the last detail. We were a group of 6 adults and 3 children. The house was very well-equipped, and we didn't lack anything. And Ana's kindness was outstanding.
The house is beautiful and very welcoming, it has everything you could need, and it was spotless. A group of friends and I stayed for three days and we loved it. Ana, the woman who rented us the house, is very attentive and friendly. The house is traditional Maragato style, but it has been tastefully renovated. It's also close to many beautiful places, such as Las Médulas, near Astorga, and also close to Santa Colomba de Somoza, where the Club 45 Foundation is located—a fantastic museum of beat and pop culture.
It's been a wonderful experience. The house has been tastefully renovated while maintaining its original aesthetic. Even the bathroom grate was a beautiful wooden lattice. Thank you so much for your hospitality, flexibility, and thoughtful touches ❤️
Three days with the group enjoying pure mountain biking on the 2025 Vuelta a León BTT around Astorga, spectacular scenery, and trails with great flow. The weather wasn't great: cold, rain, hail, and lots of mud, but we couldn't have found a better place to recover for the next day's stage than Casa de Murias. All the rooms had their own bathroom, everything was very clean, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The living room with its fireplace was the perfect place to discuss the day's adventures and misadventures. A house with character, renovated with all modern comforts while maintaining its traditional charm. We'll definitely be back another time with better weather. Ana and Elena made things very easy for us; thank you.
