The owner of the albergue is insane. I woke up and left the Albergue in early morning around 5, then he sent me message and said that I drank his coffee which is for other prligrim without proof. I need to leave super early that I barely have time to STEAL his coffee. And why would I come along the long way to drink your coffee without paying it?🙄 Super arrogant and stupid to just accuse someone without confirming everything.
Stayed in October so the traffic was light. The host was welcoming and an veteran of the Camino. The room was mediocre and kind of smelled. The showers were okay but there was only 1 toilet which usually is a disaster but luckily there was not a lot of pilgrims that night. Did not opt in for dinner.
By far the worst accommodation on the Camino so far.. Dirty, smelly, and unmaintained.. Six of us arrived, and he put us all in the smallest room, which smelled of dampness.. The shower curtain was full of mold, and to top it off, he charges 2 euros for a sheet.. awful!
The albergue was nice, €15 included breakfast of toast and coffee. Room was fairly spacious and showers were good and hot. The owner was very helpful and beautiful views from the hillside. Only downside only a microwave available for cooking. Good value for pilgrims
Amazing albergue. The host, Angel, is a wealth of Camino information and very welcoming. Extremely clean facilities. Comfortable beds. The breakfast spread was very generous and very appreciated.
