This hotel is set in beautiful grounds and is also very well presented inside. Lack of guests at present mean that the cafe Is shut until dinner at 8 pm. Nontheless the receptionist kindly provided us with drinks in the lounge. The location is too far out of town for a tired walker to go looking for any place open in the town. Rooms very nicely appointed, clean and spacious but no electric kettle or any other means for making tea or coffee. The peace and quiet and lovely gardens make up for being a little out of the way.
Walking the Camino St Frances in N Spain, this location of this hotel is next to the path. Very well kept hotel generally, clean and comfortable bedroom. Set in nice grounds and originally an old Bodegas. Staff helpful and efficient. Evening meal menu quite extensive , food reasonable and enthusiastic waiter service. Apart from the rather noisy helicopter service nearby, strongly recommended.
This place is good. The only downside is that you can hear the doors from other rooms and children crying. Breakfast was not included so I paid 1.40euros for a regular coffee. It’s very close to the village (by walk) so great location. Also highway is close by. Great for a stop during a road trip. The village is beautiful. They have a 24h reception and the area around the hotel is pretty big. Large garden. The room could be more cleaned and there were flies everywhere. But for the quality/price is more than ok 👍 they speak English and Spanish at the reception.
This is clearly a hotel suitable for large parties & weddings. In weekends in summer one should expect some noise therefore. This was also the case for us but the windows are quite soundproof so we didn't lose sleep. At breakfast a good selection of rolls etc. Not hypermodern but very nice and stylish.
Set in beautiful grounds.I like this place felt nice and relaxed straight away. Helpful friendly staff. I stayed another night good food and bar ,although you need to check if thay are serving dinner, apart from that highly recommend this hotel .the price was good to although i saw a higher price on web bookings
