Small, quaint hotel in O Cebreiro, with recently renovated rooms. The rooms are quite small but decorated with taste. Bed is very comfortable. Prices were very high end of September as this location is on the Camino Francés and there is little accomodation offering near this location. It's important to notice that payment is cash although we booked through their website and secured deposit with a credit card. This should be notified more clearly to customers. The owners are very nice and serviceable.
Generally very good place to stay, probably the best (and the most expensive) from the few we can choose in this small village. Felt luxurious after days of walking the camino and staying at albergues. It was surprising to wake up and find a BEDBUG in my bed. My friend also found one and got bitten. I know that on the camino route places have a problem with them due to big rotation of guests. I can assume that it was a new problem for casa anton and i hope that they will quickly get rid of it.
Stayed here in April 2022,while cycling the Camino. Room was tiny, low ceiling, fancy clothes rack which was too big for the room. A few rails or hooks would be more practicable. I booked direct with owner and he wanted payment in cash. Also place is called Casa Anton on booking.com but sign on property says Meson Anton. Restaurant appears to be run separately and is very good and very reasonably priced.
Wonderful meson with the best tender et and tasty octopus ask also for Albariño local wine to accompany the octopus- the best. Service great friendly and accommodating. Don’t hesitate to book here. 🐙👍
Very welcoming and friendly service. Beautifully refurbished rooms but they are small and quite expensive (but O Cebreiro is generally expensive). Food was excellent and that was good value too.
