Loved this place Very kind owner and staff. The food was great! This hotel is very clean and we had a wood fire in the restaurant that was absolutely beautiful. Stone walls and nice architecture. A must stop before the long hike up to O Cerbreiro
Not very friendly...actually extremely rude. Rooms are musty and very stuffy and was asked not to open the window because they sprayed something. Food was gross and bathroom are not clean or well maintained. Stay and eat elsewhere...these people are very unwelcoming. One of the worst experience so far. I believe they treat you badly and don't really care what you think, since the majority of their business comes from pilgrims that pass through for one night. So they don't care for their guests or have any interest in making them welcomed, because they will never see them again.
We stayed during our Camino. Very busy location and hotel. Staff were a bit stressed and frustrated with the amount of people. Beds a little uncomfortable. Our bathroom window opened out to where a lot of people sit and drink so we little privacy 😂.Pilgrim menu was great and tasty. The restaurant got very busy and could see a lot of people had to wait a long time (suggest to go before 7pm) breakfast is very basic.
We booked our hotel through Camino Ways. They are supposed to vet the hotels and provide a good experience. Unfortunately they do not do a very professional job. Using their service is HOTEL ROULETTE. The man that checked us in to O Cebreiro was a rude jerk. DO NOT STAY HERE….. AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!!
They don’t cater for Pilgrims at 9am with food who have walked up the mountain (in the snow) - unless you speak Spanish. Pilgrims come from all over the world and invest a lot of money into their towns, it’s a pity some establishments don’t offer more support. Very poor.
