Albergue Restaurante El Peregrino

This albergue is small and more modest compared to others, but the host’s warmth and kindness made it a truly pleasant stay. It’s not fancy, but you can feel the care that went into the place. And there's a cute chill dog who likes you. A simple but heartwarming experience!

Best lunch on the Camino at the best price. Rebeca prepared for me the most delicious vegan burger with tofu, salad and chips. It was amazing. Also best mattresses in the whole Camino and decent shower.

Hostel El Peregrino has a special place in my heart. I met the kindest, sweetest young lady there. She was our server/hostess/etc. She reminded me of my niece and she had me in tears. When she looked at me I knew I was being seen. I don't remember her name and I wish I did. The Pilgrim dinner was sublime. I would go back to this albergue over and over.

We booked a night in the dorm room upstairs via airbnb and Jhoana has been super friendly and helpful. It's a sleepy little town on el Camino, with nothing else around, very beautiful. Highly recommended for price and location and service!!

Don’t stop there, don’t buy there- Had to do a bathroom stop, wouldn’t let my mother in if we didn’t buy any thing from the cafe. After I suggested to pay for the use of the toilet he “kindly” agreed. While I sat outside waiting for my mom, he came and said that the tables and chairs are for customers only. There were not a lot of people and many free tables. He just wanted his little revenge. So unpleasant!
