I rarely write reviews but I had to in the case of this lovely hotel. After a tough day of walking, upon entering Pilar said, “We will take care of you!” before I could even speak! She and everyone I met here were amazing. Kind, patient, and helpful. Pilar provided a map of the town, checked in to make sure I was alright and didn’t need anything as I came in and out throughout the evening, and helped me set up my luggage transfer. The room was the best I’ve stayed in - AC, comfortable bed, clean and great bathroom. And unlike everywhere else I couldn’t hear others through the walls!! Best sleep on my Camino! The next morning I learned that there is also a breakfast buffet (13 euros) that was perfect to set me up for a great day of walking. Cannot highlight how wonderful this experience was. Thank you to Pilar and the rest of the team for taking such good care of guests and the running a wonderful hotel!
Very warm welcome from reception. Pilar was so helpful and answered any questions quickly. Room. Single bed (as on my own), the only negative was I had no where to put my case. Lovely shower room with a soft towel. Toilet a little high for me but I managed (good for sore walker). Beautiful shower product and soap. Breakfast was fantastic. Fresh juice and toast. Lots of choice. Coffee served for you too. ❤️ my stay. Quiet and comfortable
This was one of our nicer places along the Camino. The staff was very attentive and helpful making dinner suggestions and working at breakfast to provide prompt and good service. The bathtub was also nice after a long day of hiking. It was a little quirky how they arrange the breakfast tables where everyone is facing the walls instead of the other guests, but it was memorable.
Wow wow wow.... How refreshing to have such exceptional service in a budget accommodation on the Camino, this is our 3rd year bringing groups on Camino trips, and have never experienced such outstanding service, rooms are great too, clean, warm and perfect. Haven't even had breakfast yet!... but had to comment. Special mention for Pili on reception, so lovely taking care of our pelegrinos, and Michael who assisted her, always a umbrella at the ready. Thank you, thank you, thank you, hopefully you will have rooms available next year for our group ❤️👍
Set right in the centre of Palas de Rei. Lovely modern accommodation, with well-appointed rooms. Breakfast was great, with a variety not always found elsewhere. Staff could not be more helpful and friendly
