Two bedroom, one bath apartment unit with kitchen. Apartment is to restaurant and gas station. Appears recently remodeled so very new. Grocery store in back lot. Apartment includes a wash machine and clothes dryers are available across parking lot.
Spectacular service. A charming apartment, spotlessly clean, new, and very well soundproofed, with air conditioning (for both heating and cooling). It's clear that everything was done with love, with the guest/pilgrim in mind. Everything was clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and there are two bedrooms with double beds. The owner leaves yogurt, flan, water, milk (regular and lactose-free) in the refrigerator, as well as herbal teas, coffee sachets, and hot chocolate mix, which is very useful at the end of a stage of the Camino (Portomarín to Palas de Rei) and for breakfast the next day. There's a bar-restaurant (Ultreya) next door with a lunch menu, and a supermarket nearby. The apartment is immaculate. We stayed as a family on the Camino de Santiago in July 2025.
The service was terrible. We informed them that we would arrive around 6:00 PM, as we had been delayed on the Camino due to the high temperatures, and they offered no assistance whatsoever. They told us that Booking.com already stated that check-in was until 5:00 PM, and that, in short, it was our problem. So we had to take a taxi, which meant we couldn't complete the Camino de Santiago. It's great that they provide dairy products for breakfast, because that's all you're going to eat, as it's quite far from any establishment. Well, I'm lying... It's next to a gas station (not next to it, practically attached), so you can also have Doritos or Pringles for dinner—note the sarcasm. (Note the sarcasm.) By the way, it would be nice if you stored the electric clothesline in the laundry room, next to the broken plastic one, not behind the refrigerator. People like me who are short on cash don't see it until we're heading to the next stage with wet clothes. It would be a really thoughtful touch, but you guys are short on cash.
