The room was okay, water pressure and hot water were great, view was nice, but there’s only 1 big pillow to share. We wanted to have breakfast before leaving but nobody came to talk with us, even when the employee looked at us standing up from our chairs to leave. We understand if they’re busy, but communicating with customers and saying “it will take X more minutes” could go a long way.

Good, tasty set price evening meal. The grilled prawns were so good. The diced pork marinated in garlic olive oil and parsley (raxo) with homemade chips was also excellent. Washed down with a cheap, but acceptable red wine from Chantada. Service was perfect. Why so many, mainly Spanish comments are so critical of the restaurant is not fair to the business. I have also stayed at the hotel in the past and it's acceptable to pilgrims needs. I would definitely recommend it.

This is for the restaurant. There is definitely a pecking order. Went in for dinner. Stood around. Guy behind the bar saw me, ignored me. I finally asked for a menu. He and another woman immediately said they were full. I looked around the empty restaurant. They said, reserva, reserva. I looked at the seating at the bar. Nobody was sitting there. They repeated themselves. Instead of being apologetic they were angry. This was in mid-November and there is nothing else open. I’m a pilgrim on the Camino de Santiago. Subsequently a white pilgrim went in without reservations and he was seated and served. How do I know this? He was staying in the room next door to mine in the same hotel and I ran into him when he returned from dinner.

Had dinner here tonight. This was possibly the WORST experience we’ve had whilst walking the Camino. There were 2 female staff waiting tables. So rude. Inattentive. Just so horrible. If it wasn’t for the Camino there would be no travelers in this town. I suggest that whoever owns this hostel/restaurant sorts out some training for these two or alternatively gives them their marching orders. In the meantime I recommend that everyone, particularly non Spanish customers, avoid this place altogether until you see more positive reviews on this site. Appalling.

We only dined here, did not stay in the rooms. Most of the food were reasonably priced but quality was below average. Two of our dishes were burnt and another was small in serving size but costs the most. Worst part of our experience was the service. Waited 15min just for the menu and 30min for food, and we were one of the first there. Waitresses were also rude to other non Spanish speaking customers and we have noticed that only Spanish customers get their complimentary olives and chips.
