1 / 5 The owners were rude and unwelcoming. The rooms were very old and not even a desk/table to use and no ability to heat water for tea or coffee before the bar opens. The rooms were fairly clean except for the light fixtures which were really dirty and old. There is no reception, just the bar below, which has certain hours its closed, and during those times (10pm -8am?) the elevator is turned off. If doing the Camino de Santiago with bag transfer service, be aware that you cannot leave your bag anywhere until after 8 am. So you can’t start your journey until then. Also, when you arrive to pick up your bag, expect it to be in the bar, likely right next to the bar tables, where bar patrons may or may not just leave their items in top of your bag… not very secure or professional.
1 / 5 This was unfortunately one of the worst experiences I have ever had while traveling. We booked a room for three people and, upon arrival, discovered that there was no running water in the room. At reception we were informed by the staff that there was no water in the entire city and that it might return in about an hour.
Since this information had not been provided to us beforehand, we decided to leave. We were in the room for no more than 10 minutes and immediately booked another place in the city where water was available.
When we asked for a refund, the staff refused and reacted very rudely, insisting that we had already used the room simply because we sat on the bed for a moment. The way we were treated was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.
I would not recommend this property and strongly advise other travelers to be cautious when booking here.
5 / 5 Perfect location, welcoming staff and stunning rooms. Had a lovely space on the top floor with a sofa to relax in the evenings. Would highly recommend!
1 / 5 The door was open. I went in and asked the woman what time the kitchen served food and she flipped out, put her hands on me, and physically pushed me outside the door just for asking that question. Avoid at all costs. Who wants food made in that environment?
3 / 5 The room was okay, water pressure and hot water were great, view was nice, but there’s only 1 big pillow to share.
We wanted to have breakfast before leaving but nobody came to talk with us, even when the employee looked at us standing up from our chairs to leave. We understand if they’re busy, but communicating with customers and saying “it will take X more minutes” could go a long way.
