Low season , self check-in fabulous room warm , shower fantastic. Shower gel and shampoo provided plenty of towels. Slept so well the town itself is a short walk away and we found a good eating places. I left a very happy pilgrim indeed . Thanks
The hotel is right on the Camino making it very convenient. It is about 500 m before you get to the town. The dinner in the breakfast was OK. Nothing outstanding particularly with the pilgrim meal buffet at $21 US! The room itself was very comfortable and felt like a cabin with all of the wood. My room was adjacent to the door for everyone to come in and out, so that was quite noisy until about 9:30. Then it was as quiet as could be, and I appreciated that. The heat came on and it was quite warm and so I did have to open the window and leave the wooden shutter closed. What I appreciated most was how clean everything was!
Spacious and nice cabins or bungalows. Right on the Camino and has a little bar and snacks on site, as it’s another km to the town for drinks and supplies. Lovely service and staff.
Seemed like new rooms. Very clean. Breakfast and dinner buffet style and tasty. Friendly staff. Quiet area with many Camino pilgrims. High y recommend.
It's 1 km before the Palas de Rei downtown center. The bungalows are very pretty, I like the wood look. The bathroom is clean with hot water and good shower pressure. Bonus points for their refillable soap and shampoo containers (vs one time use little bottles). Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin. You hear EVERYTHING: the front door opening, neighbours' bathroom door slamming shut, neighbours talking, their TV, their suitcase rolling, their snoring... I also prefer being able to control my own room temperature and not have to walk outside to access the dining room (it's freezing in end of October). The staff was nice.
