Location is good. One of the service staff contacted us on the day of arrival with the instructions for checking. But we were unable to have breakfast the following day. It was supposed to open at 8am but nobody showed up. We called the emergency and nobody responded in fact we believed the phone ringing at the front desk was the emergency number but nobody in the hotel. Look for other options.

This is the best location for your stay in Ponferada. It is right next to the town Square and one minute walk from the castle and other photographic wonders. Rooms are basic nice and as advertised. I’m lucky I arrived when I did because I nearly missed the check in time which is only attended until 1800. After that you must do self serve entry and key retrieval. No complaint, it works. The hotel has free Wi-Fi and offers a good breakfast at an affordable price .

Great and very inexpensive hotel in the heart of historic Ponferrada. Right next to the main square but nonetheless very quiet. A few minutes walk from the castle and the Camino. Clean and comfortable, very affordable. Great place to have a private room if you’re walking the Camino

The girl at the reception was clever and charming, and she welcomed us with great care. A wonderful lodging experience overall. Good location.

Good rooms, good location... HORRIBLE service. I booked online, showed up to the hotel and it was locked. I called the front desk, the emergency line, sent emails, submitted the contact form on their website and NOTHING. No response, no answer. The only way I was able to get to my room was by luck: I went to a different location hoping to book there and asked that person about this hotel. They called the same number I had been calling which was answered without delay. I recommend avoiding staying here due to the uncertainty and lack of staff responsiveness.
