This is very sad as it looked as if it was going to be our favourite hostel the whole trip, but we need everyone to be aware that on 7 of SEPTEMBER 20224 we found BEDBUGS in our beds!!! Be super careful, hospitality establishments need to do a full disinfestation when bedbugs are found, so I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here for the next few days, because that's not enough time for them to deal with it, and when/if you, do check everywhere!
The accommodation is small. There is no sun on the laundry area. The bathroom is so small that it's very inconvenient.
Very centrally located in the main street towards the Plaza Mayor and the central church. Very clean, and what I really like: small unit with 4 /6/8 beds and windows for fresh air in the night Large kitchen, I cooked for the first time since SJPdP my own meal. With loads of vegetables ... missing in most menù del día. They had (a couple of days ago) a bed wants / bed bug problem, but immediately had a specialised desinfecting company clean the whole location. Well done, that's the way to react!!!
Was roomy and clean. The "living room" in the basement was nice and cozy with a fire going. The mixed male/female bathroom was a little inconvenient with doors opening the wrong way and no hooks, or hooks that we're outside the shower (shower doors opened inward, so you had to step all the way out of the shower to get your towel). And the bathroom door didn't shut.
Well what can I say, I guess I'm Just easy. Clean facility with hot showers, with good water pressure friendly hosts. The toilet could be a little farther from the toilet but compared to a lot of other albergue this is a gem.
