Albergue Pons Minea

1) rooms: horribly uncomfortable mattresses leaving my hip in more pain than it was from hiking. There is BLACK MOLD EVERYWHERE in room 101. We are now congested and feel like crap after staying hours in this room. Otherwise room is clean but I would not stay here if it was my choice, which it wasn’t. If you’re on the (-1) floor room such as room 101, expect to hear loud bangs and chairs moving across the floor as the bar and restaurant is directly above you. It is also very hot in here with no ventilation and they won’t even fix it for us. 2) menu: HORRIBLY overpriced for the food. Here’s a thing about Spain, they will give you bread (pan) without you asking for it and will automatically charge you 3-5 euros for it. That’s what this place did, charge us $5 for it when all we did was want drinks! And they were clear of that. Would not stay here again tbh. Would have liked to pay $15 rather than 30.

Good location, good showers, weak wifi in the rooms, kitchen is ok for basic cooking, no fridge, everything is used by the restaurant. They charged me €15 and when I called to make the reservation they told me €14.

I ate at the restaurant. The waiter clearly didn’t feel like working, I had to get the menu, salt, etc. myself. Like they were annoyed with many guests. I had a mushroom tomato pasta. The sauce was clearly ready from a bottle, the mushrooms straight from the can, the pasta overcooked… I wouldn’t eat there again.

I have never seen so much unprofessional waiters! They don't want to work! They keep ignoring you and don't clean your table when you arrive. Don't sit there!

If you dont want to be able to sleep, come here; it was noisy from the bar below up until 1 in the morning. The reception/ waiter person were also very rude. FWIW I also had really bad allergies unlike other places I've been, thought that might have been just the surrounding area.
