5 / 5 We got a private room at a very competitive price. There was a shared kitchen on the floor, fully equipped with everything we could want, including a toaster. The room was spotless, with nice sheets, a comfortable bed, and towels, which felt like a real luxury on the Camino. The air conditioning kept the room at a comfortable temperature during the night, which was especially welcome in the colder season.
The receptionist, the hospitalera, was very kind and attentive and left us with a great impression. Overall, the town itself was very convenient and had everything we needed and more.
3 / 5 Was okay but matteress were the worst on the camino. Felt every spring. Small rooms shared with strangers, very awkward
5 / 5 Very clean. There is a laundry room and a kitchenette on site. A green patio with deck chairs where you can relax. The lovely host is very helpfu.
5 / 5 Great place to stay in Portomarin. Very friendly service. Decent rooms. Nice shared courtyard with grass. Nice shared kitchen space. Would stay here again.
4 / 5 Amenities such as a washing machine, tumble dryer (which cost around 3 EUR each), coffee machine (1 EUR), and more are available. The rooms are nice and comfortable, with toiletries provided. There is no kettle in the room, but you can make coffee in the communal kitchen. Don't bother buying coffee from the machine, as people often leave instant coffee in the kitchen, so you can use the kettle to make a cup. The staff are very friendly, although they didn’t speak much English, we managed to communicate well. I didn't give 5 stars because the location is up a hill, one of the highest points, and after all that walking, the last thing you want is to climb further. Otherwise, I give this place a solid 4.5/5.
