Lovely hotel and staff. Absolutely a perfect place to rest after the walk from Sarria. Exceptionally clean room with great AC and hot water kettle and small fridge in the room. The bed was super comfortable and had 4 pillows. There was good space for our bags so we did not have to trip over them. Breakfast was very good. The staff so helpful and accommodating. A beautiful place to stay and refresh. Highly recommend.
I was very sick upon arrival and ended up staying 4 nights to try to recover. The staff was so caring and helpful. The room was lovely, very clean and the location is excellent.
The room was noisy, the bathroom door did not close and the wifi signal was poor.
Ended my first day on April 2, 2024 on the Camino de Santiago from Sarria in Portomarin. I didn't make reservations and a couple of the hostels were fully booked. I went back to the hotel that the gentleman waived at me on my way into Portomarin. Marcos, the manager, was very friendly and helpful. At that time, the hotel had just opened 3 days prior to my arrival and there was still some construction on some of the rooms. The room I got was great. The bed was so comfortable. After a long day's walk, it was much appreciated. Breakfast the next morning was included in the price (90 Euros) and provided a decent selection of cold breakfast items.
Just what we needed at the end of a very wet day on the Camino! Comfortable, quiet rooms with hot shower.
