Lovely place with outside areas to chill. Slightly outside the main drag but 8mins walk to the town square. Nice clean room which was a little small but great shower. Now doing a nice breakfast in their communal chalet area.
Sonia was amazing at check in. Very helpful and she spoke excellent English! Room was small but very modern. Bathroom was quite spacious and had a great shower with plenty of hot water. Laundry service for under 10 euros. Breakfast available.
This place is really charming. Very nice and clean, beautiful views of the river valley. There was a facility for making tea, fridge, toaster etc. The lady at the reception very friendly and efficient. The rooms were rather small and the walls paper thin, we could hear everything from the room next to us. Also a the green night light in the room is too strong. Overall a very good stay.
Comfortable, clean, and well located—though be prepared for a bit of an uphill walk after crossing the bridge into Portomarín. That said, the effort is well worth it: our room had a beautiful view of the lake. Sonia greeted us warmly upon arrival and took the time to share helpful information about Portomarín and advice for the next stage of our Camino. It’s a shame we arrived on a rainy day—we would’ve loved to relax outside by the lounge area.
If you want to be treated to beautiful rooms and service this is the place. The views from back patio overlooking the river are beautiful. I can not express how everything was excellent in this place. From the welcome to check out I was super impressed. If you are on the Camino I would highly recommend staying here. It is also a great location super close to restaurants.
